Josep Arnau Salt Museum
The tradition of working with salt to produce works of art dates back to the Middle Ages and has continued over the years through the work of various local artisans. Josep Arnau Ratera (Cardona 1889 –†1971) was one of them. His collection includes numerous pieces that sum up his work since 1930. His daughter Ramona Arnau runs the museum and she will give details on the background behind her father’s work as well as interesting anecdotes about the town.
