Equestrian Sculpture of Count Borrell II
This work commemorates the figure of Count Borrell II of Barcelona, and the granting of the Repopulation Charter to the town in 986. This work was sculpted by Josep Maria Subirachs and it was inaugurated in 1986. The stone used is tufa that came from stone quarries in Almeria.
